I grew up with many film cameras, and my father almost always had a camera in hand, not so much creative, but more documentary style. Many slide nights with friends ensued.
after many years of using my phone to capture everything, and a few point and shoot superzooms. I finally bought a secondhand Canon EOS 550D, and then another one, then upgraded to a couple of 70D's, then 80D,s, then my first new Canon Mirrorless R7 late in 2025.
